I'm trying to turn my RAWs into JPEGs, however when I export them they're washed out. I'm doing nothing to them. Can anyone tell me what's wrong.

I dunno. I've used RAW before and had no trouble converting to jpeg in CS4.

Like the raws. If I look at the raws next to the jpegs on my computer they look really washed out.

When you save as JPEG, make sure your settings resemble these

post one? Were you shooting in manual mode? if they look washed out on the camera then they are probably overexposed or something.

The top is the raw and the bottom is the JPEG. The colors on the JPEG are a lot more washed out, it's something with the processing.

are you developing then or just converting? i mean just batch convert or ate you applying changes to the pictures?

I use lightroom and the only issues I've had is exporting RAW to JPEG and having there be lots of noise when using my pictures as a wallpaper. Other than that I've had little issues with exporting my pictures quality wise.

Just converting, though I think if I convert them to DNGs I can make it work.

the raw camera data is naturally flat that's what the JPEG are, preprocess in the camera .so if you're just converting it then it's going to come out flat
